[jboss-user] [Management, JMX/JBoss] - Threaded Service

Hi all, I would like to implement a Service for my apps that lanches indipendent threads to do some actions (querying some network equipments). I need concurrency in accessing this service and i was thinking to write that creates and manage different indipendent threads. JMX is the correct choice ? If yes, any suggestion on implementing this ? Sorry, but i am quite newbie on jboss !!!
