I got the thing working when I replaced the bundled Facelets version with the latest one,
which is 1.1.11. Replacing MyFaces 1.1.3 with 1.1.4 did not solve the problem. It looks
as, even if this is supposed to be a MyFaces bug, Facelets cures it.
