compiling DROOLS 5

Hi
I downloaded the Drools 5 source code from the website.
I am trying to compile it and see following errors:

Drools Doubt regarding ChangeSet.xml file use.

Hi,
I have a doubt regarding Drools changeSet.xml file.
As in ChangeSet.xml file we define or give the URL/PCK/file Path to read our Rule file or workflow file.
Now Lets suppose I have an application deployed and is runnning using Drools Workflow.
Now I change the workflow file(.rf) file.
So my doubt is:
1. Do I need to redeploy/restart the application as to incorporate the changed workflow ?
2. Will the KnowledgeBase automatically get notified of the change of the workflow ?
3. Will the StatefullKnowledge session object will get notified about the changed workflow or do I need to create
new StatefullKnowledge session ?
I read the documentation , In that I got to know about KnowledgeAgent class, which automatically checks
for any change in the workflow/ rule file. i.e. 60 sec(default).
Will this class will fulfill my doubts ?

Rules ugrade

Hi,
I want to upgrade our DROOLS engine from 3.0 to 5.0
I see a link on the Introduction and a couple of links on the mailing list.
Do we have a complete list of updates required in the 3.0 code to make it 5.0 compliant?
Also, looks like the link for the update-drool is not working.

Eclipse Bug?

Hello,
I just want to report something that I have seen, and I am not sure whether
others see the same thing or not. I am using the latest binaries from TRUNK
as well as drools library for Eclipse. I found out that if you comment a
bunch of rules using /* through the end of the rules file (drl) but forgot
to add a matching */ the rule does not complain on Eclipse no matter how
many times I refresh, clean the project or restart eclipse. However, it
correctly complains when I compile the run via the API that there is a
"mismatch ''" and it points me to the last line of the file where the
matching */ should have been. It does not give you an informative message,
that is why I was puzzled for a while why it was pointing me to an empty
line at the end of the drl file although Eclipse did not show any errors in
the rules file. But then I noticed the color difference of how the rules are
displayed and I knew that there was a beginning comment symbol somewhere.
I just wanted to report this if people are having the same issue.

Drools 5.0 - can't make it use Janino compiler - always wants eclipse jar

Hi folks,
I'm doing some very basic evaluation of Drools and can't get past the
first hurdle - the hello world example. I get this:

Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: The Eclipse JDT Core jar is not
in the classpath
at org.drools.rule.builder.dialect.java.JavaDialectConfiguration.setCompiler(JavaDialectConfiguration.java:94)
at org.drools.rule.builder.dialect.java.JavaDialectConfiguration.init(JavaDialectConfiguration.java:55)
at org.drools.compiler.PackageBuilderConfiguration.addDialect(PackageBuilderConfiguration.java:270)
I'm not using Eclipse, my IDE is netbeans 6.8. I get the same error
running the compiled jar from outside netbeans as well so I don't
think it's related to the IDE.
I modified the example by adding a knowledge builder config and then this:
kconfig.setProperty("drools.dialect.java.compiler", "JANINO");
This had no effect. I rewrote the example to use a package builder and
set the compiler property on it to JANINO. Again, it didn't work. I
also tried passing a -Dproperty with the same thing. Again, no effect.
I have the janino jar from the download on the classpath along with
the other jars it says are necessary.
It works if I download and add the eclipse jar to the classpath but I
don't want to do this as I don't want my runtime app to depend on
pieces of eclipse.
I'm out of time and ideas now so asking for help here. These are the
drools related jars I have in the project:
antlr-runtime-3.1.1.jar
drools-api-5.0.1.jar
drools-compiler-5.0.1.jar
drools-core-5.0.1.jar
joda-time-1.6.jar
mvel2-2.0.10.jar
janino-2.5.15.jar
xstream-1.3.1.jar
