Hi All,
I am integrating Rules into a J2EE Application. I notice the Rule Agent class uses a
java timer for polling a directory or a URL.
Is this appropriate to use in a Managed Environment like an Application Server?
I only have theoretical knowledge of timers, but is it not recommended to use Timer
EJB's rather than Timer Tasks in a Managed environment so that the container can
manage the timers ?
Cheers,
Vikrant
