Key: JBSEAM-3494
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBSEAM-3494
Project: Seam
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: EL
Affects Versions: 2.0.2.SP1, 2.0.3.CR1, 2.1.0.CR1
Reporter: Samuel Mendenhall
Priority: Minor
Custom Facelets EL functions define established through xml or a custom
AbstractTagLibrary do not pass the barrier to JSF but are segregated purely to facelets.
So, one can't use Expressions.instance().createValueExpression(...) with a custom el
function in it as it doesn't existing in the JSF FunctionMapper.
There should be some mechanism to either import the existing functions, or to register
the functions with JSF alongside of Facelets.
