It no longer allows for different lists of values for each row in a dataTable. In 1.2.1 it behaved like f:selectItems and the value parameter would be called for each row, allowing for the iterator / DataModelSelection variable to be used to determine the contents of a <h:selectOneMenu>. Now it gets called once for the first row and that list is used for all subsequent rows.
