I concur with Ramesh. I'm still not clear if this is an Oracle only issue. It seems
like it would occur regardless of the source types. In any case if you are in the same
VM, then a local connection should be used, which as per TEIID-1921 has been verified to
work. We'll mark this issue as deferred since there is a viable workaround, but more
could potentially be done.
John this means that you'll need to back-port TEIID-1921 to address this situation in
older branches.
