1) Yes TEIID-1921 is the fix.
2) That is not the behavior I see, but I am using a simplified test - embedded with or
without calling thread set works, as does a remote socket connection, but I get an
exception with a local socket connection. You should ensure you have the test setup
correctly and you should really be using the same sequence of queries in every test.
