Then expand or collapse some node in the navtree **other than the "Web Application (WAR)s" ResourceType node**. This will cause the new WAR to get discovered, but no corresponding node to be added to the navtree. This is occurring because NavigationAction.getSelectedNode() is failing to lookup the node corresponding to the Resource, because the navtree hasn't been updated since the Resource was discovered.
