Ondrej Zizka updated EMBJOPR-201:
---------------------------------
Assignee: Charles Crouch
Affects Version/s: 1.3.3
Priority: Major (was: Minor)
Component/s: Web App/Integration
Will this be implemented? These tiny textareas are really annoying...
Change the layout of properties which are displayed using TEXTAREA.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: EMBJOPR-201
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/EMBJOPR-201
Project: Embedded Jopr
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Web App/Integration
Affects Versions: 1.3, 1.3.3
Reporter: Ondrej Zizka
Assignee: Charles Crouch
Labels: layout, textarea
Attachments: long-property-layout.png
When a TEXTAREA is used for properties which are expected to be long, the table-row
layout (name, unset, value, description) becomes a bit impractical - see the attached
screenshot.
What about making it vertical, stacking those four things one under each other? Like
------------------
name, unset
------------------
value
------------------
description
------------------
I would use the first and second column, second would have colspan=3;
Then a two rows with one cell with colspan=4.
