I believe it is. I saw the bug you entered and linked the ISPN one with
the JBC one.

That's certainly a valid concern, we need to keep an eye on the JBC bugs
and verify whether they're relevant for ISPN or not.

Document all configuration options available in XML

Hi,
I finished up https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/ISPN-89 today. I
decorated only a few bean configuration classes. I want to get a nod
from Manik first before proceeding further on this front. I also
committed a ConfigDoclet in tools project. ConfigDoclet is supposed to
create configuration documentation in html. However, I could not figure
out how to include ConfigDoclet invocation into maven. ConfigDoclet
requires -classpath flag to include all jars from dependent projects. If
you are maven proficient and have a lot of hair please be my guest :)
For testing purposes I was invoking ConfigDoclet as a simple java class
with main method. We can invoke this doclet as a simple java program. No
need for this doclet nonsense.

why are those strings?

I think something numerical would be better - can I change that?

JOPR plugin - display names

Heiko,
Your JOPR plugin has an RHQ xml file that maps managed attributes to
"friendly names". Can this be generated? Each managed attribute/
operation is annotated using a @ManagedAttribute/@ManagedOperation
annotation, which has a "description". This is the description that
should be used in any GUI console.

Parsing configuration XML files

Just a quick update that I am making a good progress with

I am trying to handle all the cases with the most generic algorithms I
can come up with. Should be a very compact and elegant solution. If this
goes through then I would definitely proceed to decorate all ours beans
with configuration elements we talked about!

Please try to keep the infinispan developer list cc'd so that we can
discuss the different options among every one.
Hmmm, on one side, I'm not sure of the need of implementing the two
methods. I think we need simply one that performs best.
Also, I'm not sure I understand the need for the application to apply
any logic here. The application has likely made several put operations
on a key and so the most likely outcome is the latter one should be
applied, unless there has been some kind of cluster partition but this
is a separate concern.

Again, this seems to be separate concern that addresses how to deal with
merging of cache state when there has been some kind of network
partition. This won't be resolved at the cache loader level though.
