Thanks for the info. I'm quite familiar with git and svn. I'm hope to use
git for version controlling as I have been using it for quite a long time
for my university projects.
My github account is
I'll go through the Hot Rod Protocol and the existing Java client (which
I'm already examining) and come up with a design.

Hi Sunimal and thanks for looking into this!
Hotrod is a binary protocol fully specified here:
https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/ISPN/Hot+Rod+Protocol
We already have (besides other) a java client:
https://github.com/infinispan/infinispan/tree/master/client/hotrod-client
I think a good start would be to take a look at the java client source
code and follow the same design for the C# client, given the similarities
between the two languages.
Also please feel free to join us on IRC and us questions directly:
irc.freenode.org -> #infinispan, or on this mailing list.
What do you plan to use as a source control repository? If you haven't
made your mind yet, may I suggest github.com? Git is an awesome source
control repository and it makes this kind of collaboration much easier.
Cheers and looking forward to hear from you!

It was the C# client I was originally interested about. However, I'm
comfortable with C++ also. However it seems like someone is already doing
the client using C++. So I'd like to proceed with C# client. So could you
please give me some more info about it.
Cheers.!!
