I'm wondering whether it would make sense to release an alpha1 of
JGroups 3.4 as well, which could be shipped by Infinispan 6.0.0.Alpha1.
Do you still have time to integrate and test 3.4.0.Alpha1 ?
Since 6.0.0.Alpha1 is Apache 2.0 license, I think it should ship with
JGroups 3.4.0.Alpha1 which is also AL 2.0 licensed, and *not* 5.3 which
is LGPL...

A short update on the release progress.
The PR's are in since yesterday, the infinispan 6.0.0.Alpha1 artifacts
were built and deployed to the maven releases repo, but I'm still stuck
building infinispan-server which fails on my machine and on the release
machine and mysteriously works in TeamCity. I suspect a (random)
dependency resolution problem.
I will sort out the infinispan-server tomorrow and continue the release.
