Do you see value in cherry-picking his patch and adjusting the command first? Another issue in the domain mode is when I need to remove an overlay I should go across all the server groups and check where it is referenced from and clean-up. But again, it's not specific to overlays, when I undeploy an app in the domain mode (depending on the arguments) I have to do the same thing. What would great, if we could specify references a la foreign keys and cascade delete at the resource definition level in the model. That would be tricky in the domain mode across server groups and servers. But it has to be done anyway: by a tool or by the controller. As part of our solution for audit logging, we're planning on creating a hash of the model, which would go into the audit log. In the domain case, hashes, one of the domain wide model and then each host has a hash of its host-specific stuff. This *may* prove useful in providing a kind of optimistic locking feature similar to the way Hibernate uses a version field. But I haven't thought about it carefully. Do you see value in cherry-picking his patch and adjusting the command first? I have added the ability to upload content as part of the content add operation. I have also merged Alexey's changes into the pull requests, and added a :read-content operation to allow people to view the contents of the overlay. Brian/Kabir, would one of you be able to have a look at these latest changes at some point (assuming of course that the build completes successfully, I have not actually tested it fully yet)?
