[JBoss JIRA] (WFLY-1077) JDK ORB Subsystem

Frank Langelage commented on WFLY-1077:
---------------------------------------
Now with wildfly.iiop in place, I see DEBUG messages, although category "org.wildfly" is set to INFO. To get rid of the debug messages a category with name "package org.wildfly.iiop" needs to be defined.
I think the Logger creation
IIOPLogger ROOT_LOGGER = Logger.getMessageLogger(IIOPLogger.class, IIOPLogger.class.getPackage().toString());
in
iiop-openjdk/src/main/java/org/wildfly/iiop/openjdk/logging/IIOPLogger.java
should be changed, aligned with those in other subsystems.

> Implement a JDK ORB subsystem that can act as a replacement for the JacORB subsystem.
> AFAIK, most/all JDK ORBs are based on the Sun ORB.
> Ideally the 2 ORBs (JDK & JacORB) would be both supported in case we need to go through a transition period, or we need to support a particular interop scenario for which interop communication has issues.

Fred Bricon commented on WFLY-4171:
-----------------------------------
And the banner is ... too big now :-/
http://screencast.com/t/MwgGp9zHH
Normally that wouldn't be a real issue, but this archetype is supposed to demonstrate Mobile support, and it really doesn't scale on a mobile screen, as seen on the screencast.
Maybe we could use some css tricks to use a different banner size, depending on a minimum screen width

Also wro4j configuration is broken. It should read :
<targetGroups>app.min,screen.min</targetGroups>
You should make probably make the archetype run the tests with the minify profile enabled

[JBoss JIRA] (ELY-137) Auth provider package changes
by David Lloyd (JIRA)
David Lloyd created ELY-137:
-------------------------------
Summary: Auth provider package changes
Key: ELY-137
URL: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/ELY-137
Project: WildFly Elytron
Issue Type: Task
Reporter: David Lloyd
Fix For: 1.0.0.Beta1
The "provider" subpackage of the "auth" package contains too much and in an unintuitive layout. It should be changed something like this:
* {{SecurityRealm}}, {{RealmIdentity}}, and {{AuthenticatedRealmIdentity}} (and {{CredentialSupport}} etc.) → {{auth.spi}}
* {{*SecurityRealm}} implementations → stay in {{auth.provider}}
* {{SecurityDomain}}, {{SecurityIdentity}}, {{ServerAuthenticationContext}} → {{auth.login}}
