[JBoss JIRA] (WFCORE-923) Execution timeout for CLI operations
by Brian Stansberry (JIRA)
Brian Stansberry commented on WFCORE-923:
-----------------------------------------
This will try and cancel that op:
{code}
/core-service=management/service=management-operations/active-operation=-340841891:cancel
{code}
If you can attach a server-side thread dump it may shed some light on why it's not completing. The "execution-status" => "executing" shows it's not in the "blocking" points where on a standalone server the "blocking-timeout" value I mentioned above is used.

>
> It will be great if we could have a timeout setting to "stop-the-CLI-execution-after-nnn-seconds" , for all general CLI operations.
> Specifically, during some CLI operations, for example "deploy" or "reload", it is possible that things get stuck and hang-up, CLI cannot get back / return to the user after a long waiting. In this case, if we're able to setup an "execution timeout" and let CLI return with an error message, that would be much better. User should be able to know command execution results by viewing the related logs or checking the status.
> Currently there is "--timeout" setting when running "jboss-cli.sh", but that seems only effective on "connect" operation, tried to use this timeout with a CLI script file, which has "deploy" inside (./jboss-cli.sh --file=test.cli --timeout=xxx), it doesn't work when the deployment takes a long time.

[JBoss JIRA] (WFLY-5796) Topic Subscriber does only get messages produced on node 2 after failover and failback of node 1
by Michal Sudra (JIRA)
Michal Sudra commented on WFLY-5796:
------------------------------------
Tried to test it with 10.0.0.Final instances but could not proceed due to [https://issues.jboss.org/browse/WFLY-6486]. But it is for sure correlated because with notification address configured I have message lost (every few) from the beginning of the test procedure (without doing the failover-failback). Without notification address configuration all messages are delivered at initial cluster state at least before failover-failback situation which I was unable to check.

> Client (Topic Subscriber) is connected to a 2 node symmetrical colocated life backup cluster receiving messages produced on any node (random).
> Observed behavior:
> When node 1 is shut down (failover to node 2). -> Client is automatically failing over to node 2 and is continuing to consume messages produced on node 2.
> Then node 1 is restarted (failback to node 1). From now on the client is only receiving messages produced on node 2, not messages produced on node 1.
> When node 2 is shut down (failover to node 1). -> Client is automatically failing over to node 1 and is continuing to consume messages produced on node 1.
> Then node 2 is restarted (failback to node 2). From now on the client is only receiving messages produced on node 1, not messages produced on node 2.
> Expected behavior:
> The client should at any time receive all messages regardless on which node the message is produced.

[JBoss JIRA] (WFLY-6315) session.invalidate() behaviour not conform Servlet specification in HA profile
by Paul Ferraro (JIRA)
Paul Ferraro commented on WFLY-6315:
------------------------------------
Acknowledged. This behavior regressed following https://github.com/wildfly/wildfly/commit/247a6f8707509967b778eeb9ede43df...
Session.isValid() checks should be put in place for all requisite HttpSession methods in the Undertow Session adapter. Fix on the way.

In general they are the same except the replication-granularity (in jboss-web.xml => replication-granularity) settings.
> # session-invalidate-noreplication.war and session-invalidate-replication-session.war works correctly as they are throwing IllegalStateException.
> # session-invalidate-replication-attribute.war is buggy because it throw NullPointerException instead.

[JBoss JIRA] (DROOLS-1141) KieScanner: add support for listeners

Marek Winkler created DROOLS-1141:
-------------------------------------
Summary: KieScanner: add support for listeners
Key: DROOLS-1141

Project: Drools
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: core engine
Affects Versions: 6.4.0.Final
Reporter: Marek Winkler

For testing purposes, it could be handy to allow user to register listeners to KieScanner. We were thinking about the following events:
- beforeScan
- afterScan
The afterScan method could receive an Event object as a parameter describing what was actually updated during the scan (e.g., what artifacts to which versions?), probably a {{ReleaseId}}?
