[JBoss Portal] - How to access UserModule on session timeout

Hi,
We have a scenario like cuncurrent user login should not be allowed. Means, Once the user is in logged in state, He cannot login from different session. So for that, i have written my own custom class extending IdentityLoginModule, and when the user is authenticated, i am updating one field in database which shows the status of that user as logged in. Now, the problem is, resetting that field back to loggedout status, when the user logs out. So i thought of writing my own session listener, and on session destroyed, i want to update that field back to loggedout status. But i could not access userID there in that session destroyed method. Can anyone help me out in this...?
As i observed, On session timeout, It is updating 'portal.user.last-login-date' property in database. Means on session timeout, It knows UserID and updating appropriately. So plz let me know how to access userID in that case.
I know this is a simple question but i m not aware of jboss source code.

[JBossWS] - Needed WS4EE jars missing in JBoss4.0.5.GA

Hello,
While I'm trying to build MedRec Application by referring some of the jar files from JBoss 4.0.5.GA, found the missing jars as follows.
Code:

When I try to build the Application, I get the following Error.

I have found these two jars in JBoss 4.0.4.GA at the following location.
docs/examples/ws4ee/jboss-ws4ee.sar
But, the folder jboss-ws4ee.sar is not present in the latest release JBoss 4.0.5.GA.
Where can I get the above two jar files for JBoss 4.0.5.GA and what is the reason for removing it in JBoss 4.0.5.GA release??
What is the alternative method for rectifying this problem with JBoss 4.0.5.GA??

[JBoss Seam] - Re: Referencing global view-id variables from .jpdl.xml

Thank you for your answer, but I'm not sure if you understood me right.
What I want to do is to define some '_virtual_ location', like some logical place in my app - i.e. 'home' to be 'home.xhtml' in navigation.xml.
Now i would like to refer to 'home' in my .jpdl.xml files. The advantage is - when i have a lot of .jpdl.xml files that reference 'home' and i want to change it from 'home.xhtml' to 'index.xhtml' - that i don't have to manually edit - or do find & replace - every single .jpdl.xml file but can simply change 'home.xhtml' to 'index.xhtml' in my navigation.xml file, without touching every single .jpdl.xml file. So the difference is not the '/' but more logical place vs. URL.
IMO this could be pretty useful for managing / reorganizing big projects with many .jpdl.xml files - it makes this work a lot easier ant eliminates some copy paste errors.

[JBoss Seam] - @RequestParameter exception on Seam1.1.0GA - Icefaces

I still got the @RequestParameter exception on seam-icefaces integration after moving to Seam1.1.0GA. Did anybody get a success? I don't know what kind of setting should be changed. I just moved el-api.jar and el-ri.jar to ear according to the Seam1.1.0GA examples. Thank you.

[JBoss Seam] - Help with application scope bean

I am a newbie with Seam and am trying to convert my JSF application to use Seam without ejb3.
I have an application scoped action object, which initialized a map of javabeans from the database, as below:

[JBossWS] - Re: Mapping Problems

Thanks for the reply. I seem to have solved my problem by integrating the wstools-generated stubs into the client and placing the jaxrpc-mapping.xml file in the classpath.
I have to say, I found it very difficult to locate the information you specified in the user-guide - in particular, I had difficulty working out which methods applied to which releases of JBoss, and which EJB version. As I look through Chapter 12 of the JBoss 4 AS Guide, none of this is clearly spelled out - the jaxrpc-mapping.xml file is mentioned tangentially in a couple of code fragments, and nowhere beyond that. The JBossWS user guide isn't really any easier to find information in.
I'm not suggesting that the information isn't there, at least in some form - however, as a relatively experienced Java developer with a higher-than-average level of skill in English comprehension, I'm concerned that many other people will have similar problems in locating it. Is a documentation overhaul in the pipe at some stage?

[EJB 3.0] - ManyToMany Relationship

Hey guys,
We have a scenario where our manytomany table is not simply two foreign id's. basically we have an entity that has (many) relationships to itself.
ie an ITEM object may have many associated ITEM, defined by relationship_type
so (* is PK, ^ is FK)
ITEM(id*, name ...)
ITEM_RELATIONSHIP(fromItemID*^, toItemID*^, relationship_type*)
so for any item, we can have many related items, and each related item has a relationship_type(ie. child, sibling etc)
So the following will return all items related, and i want to return only those with relationship_type = 'CHILD'
@ManyToMany(cascade = CascadeType.ALL,
| fetch = FetchType.LAZY)
| @JoinTable(name = "item_relationship",
| inverseJoinColumns = {@JoinColumn(name = "toItemId")},

[EJB 3.0] - Re: RC9 mappedBy and InheritanceType.JOINED problem

GenericItem does not have a @MappedSuperclass. Adding this gets me past that error, but I then get the error at the bottom of this post and breaks my application in 4.0.4.
Did something change in the EJB3 spec that prevents me from using mappedBy on the property property of a superclass?

[JBoss Portal] - Re: Portal Request Architecture

you mentioned that I should look at the Seam portal demo, which is supposed to show the use of Seam + Portlet + Facelet, but the view files are JSP. The non-portal demo of Booking uses xhtml. Is the seam portal demo using Facelets ?
Encouraging development:
I had a little browse inside the Nuxos-5 ear, because it looks like it is using the whole combination of sought after technologies; i.e. seam + portlet + facelets + AJAX4JSF + jBPM.
Perhaps their xml config files will provide some insight into how these APIs can work/fit together...
BTW - JSF-Bridge - it's a proposed standardising of how the JSF and Portlet request lifecycles should be integrated. I assume JBoss are a player in this effort ?
