[Security & JAAS/JBoss] - Valve is called multiple times

Hi, We have implemented a valve like mentioned in the jboss wiki( http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=CustomizingSecurityUsingValves) to enable a j_uri like behaviour. Now in debug phase we notice that this valve is called twice for the same HTTP request. Even with the submission of our login form the valve is called in 2 HTTP 8080 threads of jboss (thus 2 times in each thread = 4 times !!!), in debug mode the valve shows up in the 2 threads resulting in lots of overhead call to our login module. [JBoss Portal] - Re: authorisation facilities access from within portlet

I have just found sollution! I injected PortalAuthorizationManagerFactory service into my navigation portlet in jboss-portlet.xml like following: <service-name>AMF</service-name> <service-class>org.jboss.portal.security.spi.auth.PortalAuthorizationManagerFactory</service-class> <service-ref>:service=PortalAuthorizationManagerFactory</service-ref> and then get the service from portlet context attribute with name "AMF" This seems to be the most proper way to access jboss portal services and works fine with no exceptions now. The INFO message, which probably causes the cache to work incorrectly, is probably due to your using JBoss Cache with OPTIMISTIC locking while Hibernate is *not* configured with the OptimisticTreeCacheProvider. [Clustering/JBoss] - xmbean behavior in cluster

Hi, i have a xmbean which persists its attributes. Which behavior has this in a clustered environment? Each node has its own instance, and if i edit (in the JMX-Console) a property the new value will be persists only on the current node? [JBoss Portal] - Disabling the user registered in portal database in jboss-po

Hi, I am using jboss-portal-2.4.0 bundled version. I tried disabling a user registed in portal database, by changing the jbp_enabled column to 0 in jbp_users table. But still server is allowing the user to log-in to the portal. Whether there is any way to disable the user present in the portal database. please help us in resolving this. [JBoss jBPM] - Regarding jBPM data base tables

Hi, I need some help regarding Task Assignment based on the Organizational model. I have a 3 tables namely USERS, GROUPS and USER_GROUP_MAPPING USERS ------ ID NAME 1 USER1 2 USER2 3 USER3 4 USER4 GROUPS ------ ID NAME 1 GROUP1 2 GROUP2 3 GROUP3 4 GROUP4 USER_GROUP_MAPPING ------------------ USER_ID GROUP_ID 1 1 2 1 3 1 4 2 The following are my requirements: 1. Task should be assigned to a GROUP, so that every USER in the GROUP should be able to perform the task 2. ADMINISTRATOR(For ex. USER1) should be able to REASSIGN the task from one GROUP to another. 3. ADMINISTRATOR(For ex. USER1) should be able to ASSIGN the task to the particular USER in the GROUP. Can some one please help me how to implement this functionality? ejb2 LBP was called with 2 then 1 and stayed with 1. This was the behavior for one server stop/restart. I have observed in our UAT env that some ejb LBP was cycling back and forth between 1 and 2 after restarting server instances in a round-robin fashion several times. I.e. the number of targets kept alternating between 1 and 2 when both server instances were up.
