Ok, I have compiled JBoss Remoting v1.4.4 with the fix. According to my initial testing, it now works with JDK 6! Could someone provide hosting for the binary? It's not big, just a little under 400k. envv-entry-value looks like a typo to me. Seam is not doing anything with that - it is purely the EJB3 container. If it isn't working right, you should check the EJB3 forums and/or open an EJB3 JIRA issue. Out of curiosity, what do you see as the advantages of trying to use this as opposed to using a configuration property in components.xml? hey thomas By the way My application does not use WSRP. Also i tried deleting the jboss-portal.sar but then i am not able to access the link http://localhost:8080/portal/.It gives me an error saying requested URl not found. Also i m connected to the internet when i access JBoss portal. Please tell me what to do..... There was a bug in 2.4 if you are offline when you start JBoss Portal. If you don't need WSRP the easiest way is to get rid of it. To do that simply delete the directory: D:/JBoss/jboss-portal-2.4.0/server/default/deploy/jboss-portal.sar Hope this helps.
