runa, afaik, uses an older version of the jbpm core and backported the 3.0 gpd to the older core. Their ui is more advanced, compared to the current (3.1) release of the jbpm ui/console/webapp, but have a look at the 3.2 webconsole. David has worked some magic. I don't know if this is a real object compare or a date compare (content) I usually (in java) use the before and after statements, which afaik are identical to > and <. Don't know about ==. Better also ask on the el mailinglists/forums. g4jsf is not about the Google Map component, but about Google Web Toolkit (GWT). If you need only the map, there is no reason to use g4jsf. Take a look at http://livedemo.exadel.com/a4j-jsFunction/ This example show how you can able to use pure Google Map Widget and Google Map API to integrate Google Map in your JSF application. There is only facelets are there, but it should work the same way with Seam as well. [Persistence, JBoss/CMP, Hibernate, Database] - Exception when getting connection from ConnectionPool

Hi guys. I am using JBoss 4.0.5 GA, and DB2 JDBC driver com.ibm.db2.jcc.Driver to persist data ia a DB (DB2 ver 8.1). Unfortunately the legacy code gets a connection (and closes it in a finally block) for each record that is persisted. This works for a few thousand records, but when I start persisting tens of thousands of records I get the following exception. Changing the application to use fewer connections is not really an option at this stage but I feel it shouldn't be necessary as the ConnectionPool should be able to handle this gracefully. [JBossManagedConnectionPool] Throwable while attempting to get a new connection: null org.jboss.resource.JBossResourceException: Could not create connection; - nested throwable: (com.ibm.db2.jcc.a.DisconnectException: A communication error has been detected. My bad! DataTable, or at least <ice:dataTable> doesn't seem to like the seam-gen generated default of Set<> for 1-m relationships in Entities. In my Department code if I change Set to List throughout then like magic the data table works. What was happening is that with Set<> the Set itself was being bound to the var attribute in the dataTable, not iterating through the Set and binding each item to var.
