[JBoss Portal] - Scope of the "portlet-name" ?

The portlet-name is defined in portlet.xml and jboss-portlet.xml - what is teh scope of this name ? the war file ? Portlet-instances.xml reference thoses portlet-names, do they have to be unique names accross all war files ? Thanks to answer, I could not figure this out from teh database or the documentation. Note that it was working fine until I upgraded to the latest CVS version to solve another problem, so I don't think the problem's within my login method or anything like that (as I didn't make changes to those after upgrading). Yet another problem... Is it looking for a login() method, rather than a login with the three required arguments? I dunno, but it's not working with the latest CVS of Seam and I've declared the login method in the session bean interface. It's *really* hard to debug OOME, since there could be so many different causes. Yes, possibly the use of stateful session beans without well defined conversations *could* be a cause of this - however, SFSB passivation and timeout is supposed to protect you from this. Try adjusting the timeout. I don't see why an application should be slow because of having many session beans. It seems that the real problem is that you need to tune the association fetching strategies used by Hibernate, and possibly use some caching. Changing the standardjboss.xml will change the pool size for all different SLSB types deployed on the server. You want to include a jboss.xml in your specific SLSB meta-inf directory.
