[JBoss Seam] - InputText value being cached

I have an "edit" form with an "h:inputText" component whose value comes from a bean. If I change the input value, cancel the edit and load the edit page again, I'm still seeing the modified value. I confirmed that the actual object that is outjected has the correct value from the database. I even added an "outputText" component after the "inputText" component on the page, and the input field has the bogus (modified) value while the text from "outputText" has the correct value. This is maddening!!! I'm using Seam 1.2.1. I have good news for who is using seam with WebSphere v6.1 After having opened a PMR with IBM, they fixed the problem that caused the ClassCastException. I can now run jboss-seam 1.2.1 on WebSphere with the IBM JSF 1.1 implementation of WebSphere v6.1.0.9, with the interim fix they send me. There is no need anymore of MyFaces and also no need for fancy Classloader configurations. [JBoss Seam] - IDE support for Seam

Hi all, Is there any IDE that currently provides IDE support for Seam - specifically code-completion in .xhtml files? I should have mentioned that I do not get any complaints from equivalent decorate structures that have inputText and selectOneMenu as the editable value. The "for" attributes are set correctly. And I saw in another topic that this problem is fixed in seam 2.0 as fileUpload has been made an EditableValueHolder and thus the id will be set. So when I'm allowed to move to Seam 2.0 this won't be a problem. The EL works fine. I'm setting #{idx} with: | <ui:param name="idx" value="0"/> | I had to unroll a loop and this simplifies the copy/paste when I adjust something. I would need many filters and it is a pain to maintain it in XML.
