[JBoss Seam] - [2.0 CVS]managed lists in SFSB can't be nulled out in conver

One thing behaved strangely after I migrated my code to Seam 2.0 CVS. Say there is code like this:

Prior to the migration the form was successfully rendered after clicking the buttons in this sequence: action 1 --> action 2 --> action 3. But today it does not work. I used SeamTest to see if the list somethings was really nulled out in the method action2(), the test passed. But when I looked into the seam debug page, "somethings" always happily sat in the conversation context, not nulled out!?
My current fix was like this:

Then the form got rendered. But I do not understand this. Why the list somethings in the conversation context cannot be nulled out but can be cleared out? Any enlightenment would be highly appreciated!

[Clustering/JBoss] - [org.jgroups.protocols.pbcast.NAKACK] [mach:port] discarded

Hello, I am running 5 servers running Jboss-4.0.3SP1 with sticky sessions behind a load balancer. Jgroups version 2.2.7 The problem I am seeing is that after some time, the logs start to fill with [org.jgroups.protocols.pbcast.NAKACK] [vrx14:58902] discarded message from non-member vrx15-in:41415. However the console is showing all of them as members as shown below. Currently in this case vrx10 is the coordinator. The only way to fix is to simply adjust the communication ports of the JBOSS clustering services for each UI machine and restart JBOSS. However this bas been decided as being unacceptable. Here is a bunch of ouput from org.jgroups. Any help/advice on resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
In this output it is showing vrx15 as null.

[Remoting] - Re: EJB3/Socket invoker - connection timeouts

I tried JBoss Remoting 2.2.0 and I was unable to get it to work with JBoss 4.0.4. I'm also not too enthusiastic about that approach because looking at the code, I don't think that this bug has been fixed in the latest version. I am now able to reproduce this problem easily by setting maxPoolSize to 10 (instead of 300) on the invoker; it fails almost right away. I turned on debug and was able to get some more information.

This appears to be where the lost notification happens. This interrupt seems to be coming from the evict() method in ServerThread. I love this comment in ServerThread.evict():
