[JBoss Seam] - Re: Exception Handling Error -> redirect URL is wrong

I also posted about this a while back. It seems like the URL's became relative. In my case it's worse - I have to use the external name, e.g. .jsf rather than .xhtml. I guess I need an update ... or a drink. I guess it could be done - it depends on how much information is there in InvocationContext (via EJB3 interceptor) or Invocation (via JBossAOP). And there is only one entry point where we do a jndi name lookup: SpringInjectionSupport.getObjectFromBeanFactory. I'll have a look, and let you know. JSF posts an empty value in many cases. So the required attribute IS enforced (the required attribute is in the pd), only with an empty value!!!. Cheers for the reply Tony, i havent given up on ICEFaces just put it on the back burner until i have some more time to mess about with configuration - the experience was not unpleasant its all learning at the end of the day. "All the confusion of JSF1.1 Vs 1.2, MyFaces vs SUNRI, RichFaces, ICEfaces, AJAX4JSF etc. has made configuring projects a bit of an art!... " ...... agreed..... I took a break from coding for about 1.5 years and coming back to find Seam, JSF, ICEFases, Ajax4JSF is brilliant i dont know where to look what to try...... really really reall cool stuff. I will try that, I never thought of that since "seam-setup" asks for the folder every time and has not indicated anything like "Resetting your input with default folder 'C:\Applications\...'".
