Thanks Jaikiran, It worked.I am now able to access my remote EJB. Now do you know how can we use connection pools in my scenario. It's like this:- I have already a database, i m using connection pools as configuration in xml files. in web archive we can run it as web.xml, how can we run it on EJB jar file. I must not use Entity beans.Which is not my business requirement as existing legacy system has lots of data. [JBossWS] - WebServiceException: Unable to load Provider

I have an almost similar problem. I use JBoss 4.2.2. I have removed jaxws-rt.jar and jaxws-tools.jar from the client directory, and copied the xercesImpl.jar into it from the lib/endorsed directory, as described in this thread. I have also copied the It still fails with; javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: Unable to load Provider: Failed to load javax.xml.ws.spi.Provider: com.sun.xml.ws.spi.ProviderImpl at javax.xml.ws.spi.Provider.provider(Provider.java:98) at javax.xml.ws.Service.(Service.java:83) Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Failed to load javax.xml.ws.spi.Provider: com.sun.xml.ws.spi.ProviderImpl at javax.xml.ws.spi.ProviderLoader.loadProvider(ProviderLoader.java:96) at javax.xml.ws.spi.Provider.provider(Provider.java:90) Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError at sun.reflect.NativeConstructorAccessorImpl.newInstance0(Native Method) at sun.reflect.NativeConstructorAccessorImpl.newInstance(NativeConstructorAccessorImpl.java:39) Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong ?? Ok, the examplecode is not 100% correct. The id of the inputfield is the result of "id of form" + ":" + "id of inputfield". The colon is there. I cant replace it by any other character. Asking microsoft wont help. Any other suggestions? l think there are examples of this in the source in SVN. With examples I mean the testcases. The testcase for workflowpattern for the runtime creation of tasks would be your best shot.
