Here is a workaround while waiting for proper solution:
1) install Spring into the org/springframework/spring/main AS 7 module (can also be done
using the jbossws-cxf binary distribution,

2) create a jbossws-cxf.xml descriptor listing the endpoint(s) and add that to the
deployement in WEB-INF/ (war archive) or META-INF (jar archives), see for example

3) create a cxf.xml descriptor as follows and add to the root of deployment (jar archive)

I think we actually need both the workqueue, and the thread pool itself. Having a deeper
queue, only means the requests are going to wait longer. Being able to change the thread
pool size, so the queue doesn't have to be made deeper seems like the right fix to
me.
