Sorry Richard I have to reopen this. The spec doesn't match this use case as the
annotations are not at class level but on a subclass field level (my fault for not reading
it properly). See my comment from 11th October.
Subclass with @XmlAccessorType(XmlAccessType.FIELD) are not picked up and I now believe
this is a bug which should be fixed as part of this.
