[rules-users] Null pointer while integer comparison

i was just wondering if this behavior is consistent... say i have two rules like these: rule "Equals" when MyFact ( integerAttribute == 10 ) then ..... end rule "Greater Than" when MyFact ( integerAttribute > 10 ) then ..... end now, if MyFact returns null for integerAttribute the second rule results in NullPointerException while asserting the fact.. but the first rule does not. i am not able to reason out if this is expected functionality... :( please help.. thanks in advance
