Ejaz, without seeing the "original" rule and the
"updated-so-that-it-will-not-fire" version of the same,
there is little we can do.
Are you by chance replacing something like
Pattern( field == $previouslyBoundVariable )
with ?
Pattern( field == $previouslyBoundVariable ) from $nowhere
Problem is, there could be zillions of possibly suspect cases, and
nobody in the community
has the time to try them all. I understand that you may not be in a
position to release your rules to
the public, but it's common practice to "de-identify" rules by replacing
class names and literal
values with "Foos" and "Bars", so to preserve the structure of the
logic
without exposing its meaning -
which out of its context would probably make no sense anyway.
