It's getting so that even Drools' very own developers loose track of
what is implemented and what not.
Operator "contains" can also be applied to Strings. Guess what it does
- it hasn't been documented anywhere I know of, so it might be a bug,
not a feature ;-)

IIRC it is a supported operator on the Guided Rule Editor, Guided Template
Editor and Guided Decision Table.
