I've checked hibernate-configuration-3.0.dtd and there are all the elements for
caching I need. Thanks. I was wrong that I can't do it in persistence.xml or
hibernate.cfg.xml. I will try that. This make this feature request less severe for me.

Seam-gen has no ability to generate annotations for entities caching when it reverse
engineers from DB.
I think it should provide this functionallity via reveng.xml file so that users would be
able to specify which entites/collections/queries are cached and what is the cache mode
("read-only, read-write, etc).
