Hi,
Erik has been kicking ass and did some scripts for users to migrate from
1.0.0 release to the next 1.0.3 release:
https://github.com/aerogear/aerogear-unifiedpush-server/pull/460
For the Keycloak part (our 1.0.0 to 1.0.3), some manual migration is
needed as well (since we picked a non-final release of Keycloak for our own
1.0.0):
https://github.com/aerogear/aerogear-unifiedpush-server/pull/459
(there will be a new chapter in our user guide on this, I am currently on
this)
Moving on, Keycloak provides manual migration... but the above scripts are
needed when migrating from UPS 1.0.0 to 1.0.3 (out soon)
Now, some users may already be on 1.0.2 and migration path to 1.0.3 is
extremely simple here: nothing to do :=)
Once the 1.0.3 will be out, the team will focus on the 1.1.x series, and
regarding migration I *think* the only migration we should support is going
from 1.0.3 (not 1.0.0.Final) to the latest greatest of the 1.1.x series
Agreed but we should also be able to help people migrating from 1.0.0.Final
to 1.1 (because I'm pretty sure, there will be people in this case)
Any thoughts?
