Right, this gives us the chance to patch it outside of JDK cycles if
need be. Although just as a note, most JVMs have this since it was
originally created for the JAX-WS RI, and most ship the RI (including
IBM's jdk)

I recall Jason saying they have something like it "isolated" which can
run in any jdk.
