Shelly, don't spend more time on this. Having different directories to compile
depending on the jdk version, implies different binaries to ship, etc., so it gets
complex.
In my view, it only makes sense to build with jdk15 and test/run with jdk16. If we need to
make changes to facilitate the jdk16 run, that's ok, but I want a single binary
distro.
