Julian Coleman commented on AS7-705:
------------------------------------
For the SOA platform 5.x releases, some work was done to unify the look and feel
of the web consoles. However, this only went as far as adding a logo and menu.
So, for platforms based upon AS7, I think that it would be nice to have:
a platform logo (top-left corner?)
the component name, e.g. JBoss Rules (not the project name)
Ideally, the logo graphic and the name text would be replaceable at assembly time.
So, the console could include an image and a resource containing the name. Then,
the platform assembly could provide tailored versions of these. If customising
the look involves re-compilation, then that will have to be done for each platform
that uses this console, and will make it harder to share maven artifacts and
packages.
An optional extra would be to be able to alter the console colours by providing
an external resource. For example, the SOA platform might have a red theme, whilst
another platform might be green. However, this is not as important as providing
the logo and name, as above.
