Analysis of the situation:
During deployment an XNIO NIO Write XYZ and XNIO NIO Read XYZ threads are created to read the status of the deployment but they are blocked. Process continues to create multiple read/write threads until the ulimit is reached and then it fails.

In this example, no Data Sources already exist (clean config).
If I enter the following into the CLI and hit <tab>:
/subsystem=datasources/data-source=:<tab>
I get no operation hints. If I use a bogus resource name that doesn't exist and hit <tab>:

With some effort, I've successfully migrated a Seam 2.2 project from Jboss 5.x to 7.0.1.Final but when I tried the same ear deployment with 7.0.2.Final I ran into a FacesException when trying to access any jsf view. This is a standalone deployment using the same configuration (standalone.xml) which I carefully checked with the new version for changes (I tried with and without the small changes between 7.0.1 and 7.0.2 versions with no change).
