[JBoss JIRA] (DROOLS-3156) Explore using a full screen view instead of a dialog for Data Types.
by Liz Clayton (Jira)
Liz Clayton updated DROOLS-3156:
--------------------------------
Description:
* Porting the list in the dialog view to a full screen would better support editing Advanced options such as Data type restrictions.
* A lot of other editors have a "Data Object" tab (to import classes from other packages); so DMN having a "Data Types" tab would offer some degree of consistency.
* Porting to a full screen would also afford the UI the opportunity of further leveraging the Pattern Fly List view design pattern (including filter and the like): https://www.patternfly.org/pattern-library/content-views/list-view/

[JBoss JIRA] (DROOLS-3154) Minor UI improvements/bugfixes for Scenario
by Gabriele Cardosi (Jira)
Gabriele Cardosi commented on DROOLS-3154:
------------------------------------------
[~uxdlc]
I guess you have now a real working environment to test it, so:
when you create a new scenario asset, you have an "empty grid" with just one empty row.
If now you right click on the "header", and the menu shows you "Insert row above" and "Insert row below", "above" and "below" what are relative to?
If, on the other side, there are three rows in the grid, and the menu shows you "Insert row above" and "Insert row below", "above" and "below" which row are referring to ?
To make it clear, I am not talking of the contextual menu of the "body" of the grid, I am talking only about the menu of the header.

> This item contains a list of general UI bugs to be fixed:
> - Use grey borders for all the grid and not only for the header
> - Add some padding to the cells of the grid
> - Add some padding to right panel the tab titles
> - Remove scrolling bar from right panel
> - Review expression editor component HTML/CSS (paddings, indents, etc)
> - Review right panel padding (now it is hardcoded)
> - Use text area inputs instead of text box for inline editing
> - Reduce the width of Index column

[JBoss JIRA] (DROOLS-3184) [DMN Designer] Edge source and target WayPoints are same
by Michael Anstis (Jira)

Michael Anstis reassigned DROOLS-3184:

> The source of DMN model has same waypoint for edge source and target. If you open the attached [^a1.dmn] model, there will be:
> {code:xml}
> <dmndi:DMNEdge id="dmnedge-_594C4BE1-52D0-4009-9D4F-9960957539FB" dmnElementRef="_594C4BE1-52D0-4009-9D4F-9960957539FB">
> <di:waypoint xmlns:di="http://www.omg.org/spec/DMN/20180521/DI/" x="50" y="25"/>
> <di:waypoint xmlns:di="http://www.omg.org/spec/DMN/20180521/DI/" x="50" y="25"/>
> </dmndi:DMNEdge>
> {code}
> However in our designer the edge has different waypoints:
> !Screenshot from 2018-10-25 12-12-20.png|thumbnail!
> In the external modeling tools, the edge is rendered according to real waypoints and this the edge is not visible:
