[JBoss JIRA] (DROOLS-3659) DMN: UX for documentation reports

> User stories:
> * As a user I want to generate a PDF or HTML report of the DMN model, with documentation, so that I can hand it off to external team and/or business that needs information about the diagrams and the logic of the decisions being automated. The report can be printed out and used by business teams not involved with the modeling itself, to learn about content of the .dmn file.
> * As a user I need a means through the UI to input additional documentation, links and attachments to nodes.
> Notes:
> - Docs to help with docs formatting.
> - Might be able to leverage Case View docs widget.

[JBoss JIRA] (DROOLS-3659) DMN: UX for documentation reports
by Michael Anstis (Jira)
Michael Anstis commented on DROOLS-3659:
----------------------------------------
[~uxdlc] [~tirelli] To be honest I am a little confused....
Adding attachments appears to be a feature of _other_ DMN modellers and not part of the Specification (although we can obviously include similar functionality).
The _documentation_ tab (and feature supported by Stunner as [~tdolphine] mentions) would, presumably, produce a text document from a template including whatever we (as the DMN team) want. It could include a list of attachments, it could include "Questions" and "Allowed answers" it could include a summary of nodes, boxed expressions and their descriptions etc.
So, whilst [~uxdlc] work here showing how attachments can be handled I see it as something quite different to what we may want on the _documentation_ tab... that as far as I'm aware remains completely undefined. Am I missing something?
I've attached a video of BPMN's "documentation" for information.

[JBoss JIRA] (DROOLS-3704) [DMN Designer] Boxed expressions - Decision Table - Input clause - Properties panel is not consistent
by Michael Anstis (Jira)
Michael Anstis commented on DROOLS-3704:
----------------------------------------
[~uxdlc] For the purpose of being _agile_ I assume this JIRA adds the Name and Data Type of the {{InputClause}} to the Properties Panel leaving the Constraints there (for now).. when the JIRA to add Constraints to the popover is worked on presumably we can remove Constraints from the Properties Panel... so I guess IMO what I've implemented - and attached a screenshot of - would be OK (for now).

[~uxdlc] yes, thank you, it seems fine to me, easy to use, easy to understand.

Same issue affect the _Preview_ panel in the _Process Designer_, see the difference on both main/preview canvas for the connectors from/to the subprocess:

> 1. Add a `Decision Node`
> 2. Add a `Input Data Node` bellow `Decision Node`
> 3. Connect `Input Data Node` to `Decision Node`
> 4. Save
> 5. Close
> 6. Open againThe arrow from `Input Data Node` to `Decision Node` will be at right of the `Decision Node` and if you move the `Input Data Node`, the arrow is not repositioned.
> I noticed this in DMN Showcase and in drools-wb.
> And if you add a new `Decision Node` and a new `Input Data Node`, without save and close, it behaves as expected.
