Thanks [~istraka] - it's still not 100% clear. Is the server halted _during_ prepare (as in some XA exception is returned to server 2 during xa_prepare? I think that is what you are saying which is OK - just wanted to check that we know if an XA error is coming back out of prepare (and ideally what that error code is).

Hi [~tomjenkinson],
this happens during rollback after server2 is halted during prepare.
EJB on server1 do some work and then calls an EJB on server2 (the EJB also does some JPA call and so on).
