This issue is already reported and fixed in tomcat. https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=50138 The issue has affected 2 times in our production systems and we had to restart the production systems to resolve the issue. Please integrate this fix in Jboss web 2.1.x
