Resolution: Out of Date
Hidden/duplicated packages after repository migration to 5.6
------------------------------------------------------------
Key: DROOLS-792
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/DROOLS-792
Project: Drools
Issue Type: Bug
Components: tools
Affects Versions: 5.6.0.Final
Reporter: Pierangelo Repetti
Assignee: Mario Fusco
Attachments: repository_export.zip
I am trying to migrate a repository from Drools 5.0.1 to 5.6. I have exported it as an
XML from the source Guvnor and imported it into the destination Guvnor. The two
Guvnor's are located on different servers.
I could not figure out how to enable a verbose logging of the import operation. Basing on
the catalina.out, which is rather short, I should say there was no error.
Some packages are not showing up in the destination "Knowledge Bases" tab.
I start with N packages.
I export from 5.0.1 to XML.
I import from XML to 5.6.
Under Knowledge Bases I can see just 2 packages, the other (N-2) are not visible.
If I search for the hidden packages with the Text Search function in the Find tab, the
rules are there (therefore they were imported)
If I export from 5.6 and look at the XML by a text editor, I can see all N packages with
their rules.
Under QA/Analysis I see a list of N names, but many of the names are duplicated. This
might suggest a duplication error during import, but again the tomcat log shows no
information.
I am attaching the originally exported repository XML.
