system properties it uses. This about how to put system properties in the domain config,

org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol.COMPRESSION to the system properties (in
standalone.xml) was enough, but apparently it didn't work out (accordingly to

static files (e.g., *.js, *.css, ...).

There is a org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol.COMPRESSION_MIME_TYPES system property.
But you should consider using a compression filter instead, it will have more options,
more compatibility, etc, and it is really something that belongs to the application
layer.
