As far as I know, typically, in OpenShift Container Platform deployments whether dedicated or within corporate networks, users configure SSL at the OpenShift level and https terminates between the OpenShift endpoint and EAP endpoint. I am sure there are users who would want to make it more secure but for the first version of operator I don't see it as a must have.
