We have been looking at this issue more than a week and trying almost anything.

the same wrong behaviour can be reproduced on jboss-as-distribution-6.1.0.Final
on jboss-as-web-7.0.1.Final it works as expected but we cannot migrate to as7 since
important j2ee/jboss features are not available here (remote ejb invocations)

Hi Radim,
Given that there isn't another 6.x release planned, I haven't looked into
what's causing this issue.
AS 7.1.0 will have support for the remaining Java EE features that aren't in 7.0.1 and
I guess that's the version you would want to use.
