If a Timer has no intervall duration configured and it's initial expiration falls between the server crash and the server restart, the insert statement for the timer is never deleted from the localDB.script file. This leads to the following execption each time the BigIntegerTimerIdGenerator reaches the ID of a timer which fell between server crash and restart until the insert statement is manually deleted from the localDB.script file. The fact that the BigIntegerTimerIdGenerator generates dupplicate ID's is another bug (JBAS-3379) . IMHO, the combinatin of the two bugs which i described is really bad. The createTimer() method of the TimerService crashes in a almost not reproduceable way until the localDB.script file is cleaned up.
