I don't think we should be changing this to public. I understand that this module
hosts 3 Java classes/interfaces which are mainly meant for applications to use. However,
from what I remember, the whole reason for having this module is to just provide some
backward compatibility to certain applications which relied on these
classes/infrastructure in previous versions. I don't think we recommend using these
classes.
In any case, the "private"/"public" API is something that typically
the EAP side decides

this specific case, I think we should ask the support side whether they really intend to
"support" this, before making this public.
