eugene75 commented on JBAS-4710:
--------------------------------
While I realize now that there is no "chap8.keystore" in the /conf/ directory by
default, placing a newly created keystore there does not resolve the problem. Even using
a keystore known to work with 4.0.4 does not resolve the issue.
SSL connector not responsive
----------------------------
Key: JBAS-4710
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBAS-4710
Project: JBoss Application Server
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Affects Versions: JBossAS-5.0.0.Beta2
Environment: W2K, Sun JDK 1.5.0_06
Reporter: eugene75
Steps to replicate:
1. Download JBossAS 5.0 Beta2
2. Uncomment SSL connector in server/default/deployers/jbossweb.deployer/server.xml
3. Start JBoss
4. Try and connect to port 8443
5. Connection times out
This is clearly a SSL issue. The HTTP connector works fine. Same behavior occurs with a
newly generated keystore. No server log output was seem related to the problem at DEBUG
levels.
