Darran Lofthouse updated AS7-6859:
----------------------------------
Assignee: (was: Brian Stansberry)
Fix Version/s: Awaiting Volunteers
In general sounds to be a valid request, the additional characters will need to be checked
for compatibility with the SASL and HTTP authentication mechanisms used.
However based on current priorities this is not one likely to get attention soon so have
scheduled to 'Awaiting Volunteers'. If plenty of votes are received for this
issue I may reconsider.
Special Characters in User Names
--------------------------------
Key: AS7-6859
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-6859
Project: Application Server 7
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: Scripts
Affects Versions: 7.1.1.Final
Reporter: Fernando Ribeiro
Fix For: Awaiting Volunteers
When working with domains, I've noticed that having special characters that are valid
in host names (like "-") in user names should be supported to prevent having
"fake" host names configured in host.xml files and displayed in the management
interfaces.
