Hibernate really should be built using dependencies shipped with EAP 4.2 CP03. JDK 1.5 will be required to build Hibernate because the versions of JBoss Cache and its dependencies to be shipped with EAP 4.2 CP03 require JDK 1.5. Please note that this is a change in JDK version and dependencies for building hbernate for EAP 4.2 CP03.
