Emanuel Muckenhuber resolved AS7-4192.
--------------------------------------
Fix Version/s: 7.1.2.Final
Resolution: Partially Completed
from what i can tell the connection is closed before the response gets written. So the
error seems to be generated on the client side.
Anyway I fixed the way we executed the shutdown operation, now the result should get
written more reliably.
However I am closing this as partially completed because it depends on AS7-484 to properly
handle that. So i would suggest you add some client side handling to better deal with that
case for :reload and :shutdown operations, since this most likely will only go in AS7.2
Shutdown HC/DC result unpredictable

Key: AS7-4192
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-4192
Project: Application Server 7
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Domain Management
Affects Versions: 7.1.1.Final
Reporter: Heiko Rupp
Assignee: Emanuel Muckenhuber
Labels: rhq
Fix For: 7.1.2.Final
Issuing the /host=foo:shutdown operation sometimes returns a success result and
sometimes
Operation <Operation{operation='shutdown', address=Address{path: host=master},
additionalProperties={}}> returned <"Socket
closed","rolled-back":false,"response-headers":null,"result":null,"success":false,"throwable":null,"failureDescription":"Socket
closed,
rolled-back=false","responseHeaders":null,"outcome":"failure","rolledBack":false}>
This seems to have to do with the timing of the shutdown of the managed servers
